Project Sentai preview animation
Fujifilm’s new workflow software is a quantum leap forward for the print industry, allowing control of jobs for high-efficiency and quality like never before. Fujifilm wanted to make this clear by putting the system in the context of other recent developments, as the print industry entered the information age.
We created a ‘rollercoaster ride’ through the Fujifilm logo as a virtual museum. The viewer rounds the final bend to be confronted by a vision of the future - the icons from the new interface. We brought the icons to life as each one takes a bow in turn.
The piece was conceived and scripted by Matthew Baxter, the various animations were created by Adam Inskip and Andy K. Some of the modules were delivered via a DVA client area FTP site, allowing maximum production time within a very short turnaround project (one week in production). The high-impact end result helped make the new system one of the stars of ‘IPEX 2006’ at the NEC.
