Barrie trained as a fine artist before moving into film and video, running the Media Centre in Bracknell. He started DVA as a video production company in 1987. As one of the first to see the potential of the Internet and interactive multimedia, Barrie steadily widened the scope of DVA's capabilities to the broad range we now offer.
